What The Contact Lens Companies Aren’t Telling You

Corrective vision surgery is far more available than it ever has been in the past and yet there are millions of people who would benefit from the procedure but have not yet done so.

You would think that laser eye correction would be a lot more prominent in the 21st century than it is.

For some odd reason its easy to just assume that everyone would want it. I mean come on, you have the option of attaining 20/20 vision, and all it takes is a simple procedure.

The other plus of course is that as the technology has improved the cost of surgery making it much more affordable than ever before and even if you look at the financial aspects the cost of the surgery will save you a fortune in the future especially if you are a contact lens wearer.

This is an aspect that the contact lens manufacturers will keep quite of course, they would want there cash cow to disappear.

Save A Fortune With Corrective Eye Surgery

Are you fed up with spending a fortune on glasses and contact lenses every year?

Daily contacts have almost become a necessary expense for users and each year consumers shell out millions and millions of their hard earned dollars lining the pockets of the global contact lens giants unnecessarily, but there is an easy solution and  It is called lasik eye surgery.

The ‘lasik’ in lasik eye surgery stands for Laser-Assisted In-Situ Keratomileusis.  Lasik eye surgery is a procedure using what is called an excimer laser, which permanently changes the shape of the cornea.  The cornea is the clear covering of the front of the eye.

Corrective surgery is not for every one but if you are one of the massive group of eyeglass and contact wearers that can benefit from this type of surgery then you owe it to yourself to investigate this further no only because of the financial savings it will bring you over time but also for the sheer freedom it brings.

If you have been a contact lens wearer for the last 20 years then it is an absolute breath of fresh air to be free of this encumbrance once and for all.

Are You Using Disposable Contact Lenses Yet

Even though contact lenses have been around for many years now, a lot of people still stick with normal eyeglasses often because they have heard stories in the past about how uncomfortable wearing contacts can be.

Contact lenses have come a long way though and the industry spends millions each year on contact lens development to make them more comfortable on the one hand , and easier and cheaper to manufacture on the other, which in turn has reflected in better on the street pricing.

If you haven’ looked at contacts for quite a while There are different types of disposable contact lenses from which you can choose. There are some that you must throw away every two weeks, or once a month.

Other types are daily lenses, and you put in a brand new pair each day when you wake up taking away the need to have bottles of solutions to keep your lenses protein free.

If you aren’t sure which you would prefer, talk with your eye doctor to decide which option is best for you.
